金魚文様には｢豊かさ・幸福｣という意味があり、中国語の金余(お金が豊かにある)と発音が同じであることが由来しており、 縁起の良い文様とされています。
また、日本が原産といわれている蘭鋳は｢金魚の王様｣として古くから親しまれています。
古に、ガラスの器が無く陶器や桶に金魚を入れて上から鑑賞していた時代がありました。｢金魚の上見(うわみ)｣という言葉があるように、金魚を上から見た時の美しさに重点を置いて品種改良されたそうです。
そのひとつの蘭鋳を、真鍮皿に入れて上見しているように糸鋸(いとのこぎり)で透かし切りました。

Also, Ranchu, which is said to be native to Japan, has long been known as the \"king of goldfish.\"
There was a time in ancient times when there were no glass vessels and goldfish were placed in pottery or a bucket and viewed from above. As the saying goes, ``Goldfish Uwami,'' goldfish are said to
have been bred with emphasis on their beauty when viewed from above.
One of the orchid castings was placed in a brass plate and cut with a scroll saw to make it look like it was viewed upwards.
Not only writing instruments, but also bills can fit comfortably. It can also be used as a checkout tray for stores.
